Amy Pagliarini, a dedicated and compassionate practitioner who strives to serve as a guide while supporting her patients throughout their individual path towards wellness. She provides access to resources and tools that guide individuals on their personal healing journey. Amy is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and Licensed to practice in the State of New York.(LAc.) Doctors Of Acupuncture in Rhode Island. YEAR, Amy earned her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM), Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) and a certification in Facial Rejuvenation.
During her Masters program, she completed a clinical rotation at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases- Initiative for Women with Disabilities and Veterans Hospital NY Harbor Healthcare Manhattan Hospital and two rotations at the Fortune Society, building people not prisons.
Amy continuously strives to advance the science and uses of oriental medicine - currently engaged in a Clinical Trial which focuses on Acupuncture and Chronic pain Management, and is a collaborative effort between Albert Einstein College of Medicine and PCOM-NY. Developing and employing a ‘responsive manualization’ in the ‘Acupuncture Approaches to Decrease Disparities in Outcomes of Pain Treatment’ comparative effectiveness study"
She has hands-on experience supporting fertility conditions, Pregnancy and postpartum support, emotional conditions (stress, anxiety, depression,) digestive conditions, migraines, as well as other chronic illness and pain management. Through listening, palpation, and observation she creates customized health plans that contain elements of herbal medicine, dietary guidance and lifestyle recommendations.
An avid meditator and student of yoga, Amy also holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature and is a United States Air Force Veteran
